This is a unique and eye-catching pullover that has been handmade from cotton horse feed sacks. I would guess it dates from the 1950s or early 1960s. The fabric is quite soft—it feels more like linen —and the seams are all strong. Whoever made it has taken advantage of the sack details, such as the checkered borders, to craft a striking piece of memorabilia. The shirt is in excellent condition with no holes and only a couple of very light stains. It should have many years of wear left in it. Since it’s a pullover, it’s more difficult to put on and take off, so it’s probably best for a 35 inch chest or smaller. Please consult photos and measurements for more details.
