1940s Embroidered Mexican Shirt Women's Size S

Fantastic linen shirt with the coat of arms of Mexico—an eagle devouring a snake—embroidered on the chest and the back. The shirt was likely produced in the 1940s. The tails of the shirt are long, so the shirt can be tied in front. Fabric is still strong, although the embroidery thread has bled significantly in several places. 

Fun fact: The musician/actor Kris Kristofferson wore a nearly identical shirt as a young boy! If you watch episode 6 of Ken Burns’ documentary Country Music, you will see a picture of Kristofferson wearing this shirt at 41:20.
