Levi’s Type 3 "Big E" Peace Sign Denim Jacket Size XS/S

This is a late 1960s-early 1970s true vintage "Big E" trucker jacket from Levi Strauss. It features an embroidered red and gray peace sign on the back. It is in very good condition. Despite the fact that the tag is gone, we can assume that this is a 70505-0217, rather than a 557, because the bar tacks under the pockets are black instead of yellow. The jacket has a medium wash color with nice fades all around. It has no stains and no holes. There are, however, three areas where one stitch of the double stitching has come loose—one seam under the right front pocket, one seam under the left forearm, and one seam under the right forearm. These three loose seams can be mended easily, although I have not done so. In addition, there has been a repair to the left cuff, where a hole has been patched from the inside. I suspect another repair has been made to the waistline, where a change in stitching can be seen. Both repairs have been done well. The jacket fits like a U.S. men's size small. I am 5'8" tall, 165 lbs, with a 39" chest, and the jacket fits me when unbuttoned, but I cannot button it comfortably. Please consult photos and measurements for more details.
