1950s Miller Rose Embroidered Western Shirt Size XS/S
This is a beautiful Miller western shirt from the 1950s that features embroidered roses throughout. It is in very good condition. It features vivid embroidery, smile pockets, and pearl snaps. The fabric of the shirt is extremely soft and supple, which suggests that it is a cotton/rayon blend. It is a clean ivory color, and there are no major stains that I can discern, which is remarkable on a light-colored shirt this old. The embroidery is in good condition, although it is getting thin in a couple of places, and there are a couple of loose threads. Pearl snaps are all intact. The only major flaw is wear to the embroidery on one of the cuffs, which is shown in the photos, but it’s hardly noticeable while wearing. The shirt fits like a U.S. men’s size XS or S, depending on the look you are trying to achieve. I like to wear it untucked—with the printed size tag exposed—and it fits me great. One issue to consider: The cuffs seem narrower than usual. I do not have huge wrists, but the cuffs are difficult for me to snap. I am 5’8” tall, 165 lbs, with a 39” chest.
